- No-fishing zones. Sanctuary and wilderness zones are closed to fishing. Your skipper knows the boundaries.
- Launch limits. The park caps the number of boat launches per day at each site.
- Park fees. Entry fees apply at the gate, plus launch fees. Charter operators pay a daily activity permit.
- Cape Vidal is reached through Bhangazi Gate. Gate times have been 05:00 to 19:00 from November to March and 06:00 to 18:00 from April to October. Confirm before you go.
- Day-visitor vehicles are capped, so arrive early in the holidays.
- Fishing is closed in the wilderness zone north of Red Sands towards Leven Point.
