The Umdloti Launch
The beach launch is a surf launch with a shore break that can be rough. In 2017 beach erosion stopped launching from June to September, so it is not always usable.
Target Species
- Couta (king mackerel), the main target of the local club competition.
- Natal snoek, bonito, tuna and GT (kingfish).
- Garrick and queenfish, which are released in club competitions.
