Target Species
- Gamefish. Couta over 30 kg, dorado, wahoo, sailfish, yellowfin and blue, black and striped marlin.
- Inshore. Natal snoek, GT, blacktip kingfish, queenfish and garrick, moving into the shallows in winter and spring.
- Harbour. Grunter, stumpnose and perch, plus garrick near the South Pier.
Fishing is good all year. North of Mapelane, iSimangaliso rules ban bottom fishing.
